When and Who did he first Marry, why was this important?

A

In June 1509, Henry VIII married his older brother’s wife after his death, Catherine of Aragon. This was important for England as after Prince Arthurs death, it meant terms with Spain were in the air again. However, with this marriage, the tension rose down again.

A

When it came to Henry VII, he was always paranoid and so always needed to know what was going on at all times. However, Henry the VIII was the complete opposite, only getting involved with the Government when it peaked his interest.
