Total Peripheral Resistance (TPR)
A
TPR: The overall resistance to flow through the circulation.
Organs are arranged in parallel, so each contributes to TPR inversely.
Individual organ - think of as series network, add R of all the vessels.
Organ resistance determined by arteriole resistance - so contraction/dilation in these walls is a major control point
