Heavy Extraction Sequence
- left locks released during slowdown checklist
- 15 sec TTG-CP pushes READY/DROGUE
- PDM kicks the drogue chute into the slipstream
- LM calls “Drogue OK” or “Malfunction”
- Green light-CP pushes the JUMP/REL switch
- TRM releases the extraction link
- force is transferred from drogue chute to the extraction chutes which are pulled into the slipstream
- right locks release and platform begins to roll when required aft force is met
- actuator arm of the EFTC slides along the ADS rail and RBA until it exits the aircraft
- when the actuator arm swings forward, the EFTC releases the latch and transfers force to the recovery chutes
