Law of conservation of energy
Energy cannot be created or not destroyed just transformed (under normal conditions).
Heat
Thermal energy that flows due to a difference in temperature. Heat flows from hot to cold.

A method by which heat flows (conduction,convection,radiation).
Conduction
Heat transfer within or between solid objects.
Convection
Heat transfer into or out of fluids.
Radiation
Heat transfer due to packets of energy called photos that can travel through many substances,even empty space.
Insulator
A material through which energy (electrical,thermal or sound) cannot be easily transferred.
Conductor
A material through which energy (electrical,thermal or sound)can be easily transferred.
Temperature
The measure of the average speed of all particles
