Law of Conservation of Energy
Thermal energy that flows due to a difference in temperature. Heat flows from hot to cold

A method of which heat flows( conduction, convection, radiation)

Heat transfer within or between solid objects

Heat transfers into or out of fluids
Convection
Heat transfer due to packets of energy called photons which can travel through many substances even empty space
Radiation
A material through which energy (electrical, thermal, and sound) cannot be easily transferred
Insulator
A material through which energy (electrical, thermal, and sound) can be easily transferred
Conductor
The measure of the average speed of all the particles
Temperature
The total energy of all the particles in an object
Thermal energy
