The SI is the Minister of Reception - it recieves food from ST in order to separate the clear from the turbid or the pure from the impure
Recieves & transforms - recieves food from the ST to be further digested and absorbed
Separates & secretes the clear & turbid - w/assistance from the SPLEEN it absorbs food & water essence parts from the food recieved from the ST / Then the secretion part is moving the solid food waste onward to the LI for elimination as stool AND helps the KD’s qi transformation function by sending water to the UB (thus the SI governs ye fluids)
