What is the foramen ovale?
in a fetal heart it is a internal septum so the blood can bypass the lungs and go to umbilical chord, which turns into the fossa ovalis
What is the ductus arteriousus?
connects the pulmonary trunk and aorta, goes from pulmonary artery to the ductus (bypass lung) to the aorta
On the right side of the heart what is the portion that returns blood from head, neck and arms?
superior vena cava
On the right side of the heart what vessel returns blood from body inferior to heart?
interior vena cava
