What are platelets?
The part of your blood that makes it clot.
What is clotting?
The ability blood has to thicken to stop bleeding.
What are blood vessels?
Tubes that carry blood throughout the body.
What is the heart?
The organ designed to pump blood.
What do red blood cells do?
Carry oxygen from your lungs.
What do white blood cells do?
Fight infection and diseases.
What are chambers?
Closed, hollow spaces
What is a pulse?
The rhythm or beat that is felt through your skin as blood is pumped through arteries.
What do veins do?
Take blood TO your heart.
What do arteries do?
Take blood AWAY from your heart.
