A
- Endothelium: simple squamous epithelium
- Subendothelium: made up of loose connective tissue and dispersed smooth muscle cells
- Internal elastic lamina

What are the components of the tunica media?
A
The tunica media is composed of layers of smooth muscle cells
Outermost part of this layer is the external elastic lamina.

A
This is composed of areolar connective tissue that contains elastic and collagen fibres.
