Q

Describe the differences in cell structure and organization between cardiac, skeletal, and smooth muscle.

A

Cardiac and skeletal muscles are striated. Cardiac muscle cells are small, mono-nucleated, possibly branched cells.

Smooth muscle is unstriated. Skeletal muscle cels are long, unbranched, and multi-nucleated.
