What is a diet?
Food that a person regularly eats. Someone people have special diets, for example vegetarian and dairy free
What are the three different categories of diets?
Medical- put on it by a doctor to maintain your health.
Lifestyle- it is your choice.
Religious- they can only eat what their religion allows.
What should all diets be and contain?
Should be balanced and contain rainbow foods.
Why are starch foods brown?
Because they contain extra nutrients and fibre.
Why are rainbow foods important?
The will add colour and contain all the nutrients the human body needs.
How much fish should you have a week?
Two portions, at least one being oily fish.
Where does saturated fat come from?
Dairy cows/ animal fat. You should try and cut down on it.
What is al alternative for salt?
Lemon juice or oil
How much should you exercise a week?
2 hours a week. You must raise your heart beat.
