Competition - competition can be thought as psychological as it prepares the mind to compete and makes them forget about stress
Physical challenge - setting a task that’s challenging but achievable makes the athlete feel satisfied when it has been achieved
Aesthetic appreciation- appreciating the performance and not just winning
Social Mixing - being involved in a club means mixing with other people
