definition

A

A measure of impact of disease and injuries, it measures the gap between current health status and an ideal situation where everyone lives to an old age free from disease and disability. Burden of disease is measured in DALY.

A

Refers to a person not engaging in physical activity, such as someone sitting or lying down. High levels of sedentary behaviour can be dangerous for health.

A

Physical activity should be done on a daily basis and can be done over a 24hr period

Daily physical activity should include some strength based activities.

People should break up sedentary behaviour with movement.
