Health Related Fitness Testing Flashcards
Cardiovascular endurance test
Mark a 20m distance on a flat surface with cones
Preform continuous shuttle runs between the cones
Pace is dictated by a soundtrack and the time between the beeps becomes progressively shorter
If 3 beeps are missed your test is over
Muscular endurance test
You will need a mat, stopwatch, and a partner
Complete as many full sit ups as possible in 30 seconds
Partner is in charge of timing and keeping count
Flexibility test
Requires the use of a sit and reach box
Extend both legs fully
Slide both hands forward
Measure from the finger tips
Strength test
Adjust hand grip dynamometer to 0
Squeeze as hard as you can
Repeat for both hands and compare data
Speed test
30n distance on a flat surface
Sprint the distance as fast as possible
A partner times the test
Power test
Face a wall and stretch both arms and measure standing hight
Mark this hight on a jump board or with chalk
Stand side on the wall and jump as high as you can
Measure difference between 2 marks
