Cholesterol
screen all @ 21-40
if ^ risk men @ 35, women @ 45
Cervical Cancer Screening
21-29 yrs q 3 yrs, 30-65 yrs q 5 yrs
Breast Cancer Screening
20-40 yrs PAP q 3 yrs
30-65 yrs PAP smear only q 3 yrs or PAP & HIV q 5 yrs
65 yrs- stop if normal for 10 years
Colon Cancer Screening
USPSTF:
50-75 yrs screen with fecal occult blood, sigmoidoscopy or colonoscopy.
75 yrs- stop routine screening
American Cancer:
start @ 45 yrs, stop @ 75 if normal x 10 yrs,
stop all at 85 yrs.
Blood Glucose Screening
40-70 yrs who are overweight/obese
Earlier for @ risk: family hx, or other risk factors regardless of weight
PSA
PSA test & rectal starting age 55, stop @ 70 yrs
Mammogram
q 1-2 yrs 50-74 yrs, stop @ 75 yrs
Intimate Partner Violence
screen women of childbearing age
BMI > 25
diet, exercise, behavioral modification
Osteoporosis
women > 65 yrs (bone density) or < 65 yrs if post menopausal and high risk
VIt D > 65 yrs
PPD
once during adolescence; q 1-2 yrs if at risk
