What is a method statement?
A document that detail the way a work take or process is to be completed prior to approval
What should a method statement include?
An outline of the hazards involved and a step by step guide on how to do the job safely
It must also detail which control measures have been introduced to ensure the safety of anyone who is affected by the take or process
A copy of what is required from contractors before the commencement or works?

A written health and safety policy document must contain what?
- A policy setting out the organisations commitment to health and safety
- Details of the organisations H&S structure with roles and responsibilities for organising H&S
