A

1) Identify the hazards present
2) identify the people at risk from the hazards
3) Evaluate the risk, consider the likelihood and severity. including existing precautions
4) record the findings
5) review the assessment regularly
6) advise all those affected of the outcome, including the precautions to minimise or eliminate.

A

A document that details the way a work task or process is to be completed and prior approved.
It should outline hazards and how they have been minimised/elimated, and include step by step guide on how to complete the job safely.

What is Asbestos?

A

It is an insulating material, which can cause serious health problems and fatal diseases.
Problems arise when it is disturbed and fibres get lodged in peoples lungs.
