Denial
In this stage of grief, the individual usually feels helpless and powerless. He or she feels like being left alone because of the loss or death of a loved one.
Anger
In this stage of grief, the individual usually becomes obsessed with thoughts of what could have been done to prevent the loss. He or she thinks and expresses specific ways and things that they could have done to save the person.
Bargaining
The individual starts to realize the extent and effect of the loss. This is manifested through the following common sign: insomnia (sleeplessnes),poor appetite, crying spells, fatigue , and lack of interest and energy
Depression
The individual begins to come to terms with all emotions and feelings that he or she has experience when the death occurred. The healing process begins when he or she begins to integrate the loss into the individual’s life experiences.
Acceptance
Nationwide preventive and rehabilitation services are provided to children who are victims of abuse, neglect, and exploitation. These include provision of immediate intervention for childrens early recovery and reintegration for their families
Child protection services
This service is on therapeutic interventions and approched provided to children to overcome the negative effects of abuse. This aims to maximize the childrens potential toward living a normal life and productive life
Therapy for abused children
This provides permanent or temporary family care arrangement to children whose parents are unable to proved for their needs, temporarily or permanently. This service comes in three (3) ways
Alternative family care
The framework for its implementation is based on the provisions of republic act 8552 or the domestic adoption act of 1998. According to DWSD, ___ is a socio-legal process of providing permanent family to a child whose parents have relinquished parental authority over the child
Adoption
The provision of planned substitute parental care for a child by a licensed foster family
Foster family care
This is a nationwide service to grant sole and absolute legal guardianship, parental authority, and legal custody over the child to a parent/person, this applies when the parents are legally Separated, divorced or annulled
Legal guardianship
It is important that one gets connected to others for support and help. The connection should be with trusted mature adults peple like parents, relatives, teachers, guidance counselor, priest, family doctor, close friends, and neighbors.
Talk and stay connected to others
One can engage actively in various activities, projects, or hobbies like walking in the park, playing one’s favorite sports, playing a musical instrument, joining a church chorale, poetry writing , photography, joining a youth’s organization, and adovacacy work.getting active in any of these can help manage feelings and have a better disposition in life
Get busy and be active
Experiencing stressful events and witnessing them on others or even watching on videos may be traumatizing.one may react with anger,fear,sadness, or even shock.
