How often do you eat healthy meals?
I used to eat fast food a lot but now that I am aware of the importance of a healthy lifestyle, I try to put healthy eating in my everyday schedule because a balanced diet helps me to maintain a good level of fitness. It also improves mental and physical health and prevents diseases like high blood pressure or heart problems.
Is there any type of food you never eat?
I eat most foods because each has beneficial nutrients that are essential for our body. I only avoid of sea-related foods like fish, shrimp, or lobsters which I rather consume occasionally from time to time mostly because of the way they smell especially when they are served semi-raw with improper seasoning.
How do you like to relax?
Although having a long walk in untouched nature would really unwind and recharge my batteries I don’t have enough time to do that because of my job so most of the time I relax in my home by listening to music or reading a book in complete silence instead.
Do you think the people in your country pay enough attention to their health?
Yes with the increase in people’s knowledge about the importance of mental and physical health, they pay attention to their health more than ever. They try to have a healthy lifestyle with activities attending to gym or eating more homemade foods.
What types of activities do you think help people stay healthy?
In order to stay healthy and maintain a good level of fitness people should have a personal fitness program that includes a balanced diet and routine exercise which is designed only for them and they must stick to their program.
Do you think governments should have more influence on people’s health?
Yes. I believe the government plays an important role in their citizen’s health and well-being so they should focus on informing people about the benefits of having a healthy life. They should also build a society where everyone can have easy access to advanced healthcare.
Describe something you do to stay healthy.
These days having a healthy lifestyle plays an important role among the people of modern societies. I personally that taking care of our physical and mental health should be one of the most important priorities in our lives.
And in order to achieve that I put regular exercise in my daily schedule. The activity that I choose to keep fit and stay healthy is running.
Each morning about 6 or 7 I put on my running clothes and get on the road. During these hours the streets are almost empty and there is no traffic congestion. So the chance that I run into other people or cars is much less.
I start running from my home to the nearest park where I do most of my warming exercise and running there.
I usually run alone but on Wednesday some of my friends join me which makes this activity even more fun. In the earlier days running was a very difficult activity for me because I wasn’t in good shape and I ran out of breath soon
But now that it has been a while I find it very relaxing.
