Aetiology/risk factors:
A
If there are uneven pupils then need neurosurgical help urgently as can show increased ICP
Retinal vein pulsation can exclude ICP
Early complications - extra/subdural haemorrhage and seizures
Later complications - subdural haemorrhage , seizures, parkinsonism, diabetes insipidus, dementia

Headache Unconsciousness Dizziness Blurred vision Confusion and deterioration Nausea and vomiting Varies depending on severity

Low GCS
Blurred vision

Investigations:
A
ABC Oxygen Sats Pulse, BP, temp, RR and pupils Access anterograde amnesia U+Es Glucose FBC Blood alcohol Tox screen CT head if indicated
