A population’s overall health considering life expectancy, amount of disability, and levels of disease risk factors.
Define health status
An indication of how long a person can expect to live, based on remaining years at a particular age if death rates do not change.
life expectancy?
The number of new cases of a condition during a specific time, usually within a 12-month period.
incidence
The total number of people experiencing a condition at a given time.
prevalence
Patterns or changes over time, such as increases or decreases in incidence or prevalence of diseases.
trends
Ill health in an individual and the levels of ill health in a population or group.
morbidity
The number of deaths in the population over a specific time period, due to any cause.
mortality
A measure of burden of disease, one DALY equals one year of healthy life lost due to premature death and time lived with illness, disease, or injury.

Years of life lost due to Disability.
YLD
Years of life lost.

Unpleasant feelings and emotions impacting an individual’s level of functioning.

The rate at which individuals enter hospital due to disease or injuries.
