Properties - Red/Brown, Medium Weight, Quite Strong, Easy to work, Durable, Warps Easily
Uses - High Quality Furniture, Panelling, Shop Fittings, Veneers

Ash
Properties - Light Coloured, Flexible, Tough, Varnishes well
Uses - Tool Handles, Cricket/Baseball bats, Ladders, Veneers
Cost - Mid Range
Beech
Properties - Brownish colour, Hard, Strong, Tough, Tends to warp, Bends well, Steam bent possibility
Uses - High Quality Furniture, Toys, Tool Handles, Veneers
Cost - Mid Range
Teak
Properties - Straight or Wavy grained, Coarse Uneven texture with oily feel, Golden-Darker Brown
Uses - Interior or Exterior joinery, Garden Furniture, Veneer
Cost - Very Expensive
