Q

How does Disks work?

A

Some bits on the Disk are flat and some have bumps (a pit). The laser will shine down and will bounce straight up, the reflection might be a binary 1, if there was a little bump/pit , the laser will shine down and will reflect in a slight weird manner, which will be read as binary 0 —> therefore you can have loads of this and have files created in binary.
