4 Kanaval signs:
1. Fusiform swelling
2. Held in fixed flexion
3. Pain on passive extension
4. Pain on palpation/percussion of the flexor sheath
Management:
- Early: IV Abx, elevation, repeat reviews
- Washout: Window at A1 & A5 pulleys and irrigation
- Fulminant infection: open whole flexor sheath and washout
