- Put one arm under the dogs head
- Put other arm under the abdomen with your hand pointed forward and fingers between the front legs
- Lift straight up and place on table
Lifting a small injured dog
- Place one arm under the head
- Place other arm around the hindquarters
- Lift and place on table
Lifting a large uninjured dog <50lbs.
- 2 people end down on same side of the dog
- 1 person restrain the dogs head by putting 1 arm around the neck and the other around the chest
- 2nd person place 1 arm around the abdomen and the other around the hindquarters
- Lift and place on table
