Rhythm
Three beats in a bar- dance like metre
Maintains a fast tempo until the end where there is a general pause before a slower drawn out ending
Marked allegro- its quick and lively
In 3/4 but hemiola makes it seem like its 2/4

The piece alternates between homophonic and polyphonic textures
Very occasionally uses monophonic textures
Handel uses imitation (copied by overlaps)
