What is radioactivity and how do you detect/record it?
A
It is the radiation from the nuclei of their atoms
It is entirely random
You can measure it using a Geiger muller tube, which detect radiation
You can also use a photographic film which turn darker the form radiation

A
It’s activity.

What happens to the radioactivity over time?
A
It decreases over time.
For some isotopes it takes hours or millions of years

A
It is the average time taken for the number of radioactive nuclei in an isotope to halve.

How do you measure half life on a graph ?
A
Halving the activity and finding the corresponding on the time axis.
