Investigations

A
  • FBC (anaemia, raised reticulocyte count)
  • U&Es (raised bilirubin, raised LDH, low haptoglobins)
  • Urine (urobilinogen)
  • Blood film (reticulocytosis, damaged RBCs)
  • Direct antiglobulin test (Coomb’s test - positive indicates immune cause)
