A
  1. Tumours - bladder cancer > renal cancer
  2. Stones
  3. Bacterial UTI
  4. Renal disease - disorders of glomerular basement membrane
  5. Trauma, iatrogenic, coagulopathy

  1. Beetroot and rifampicin - red

A

Mid-stream urine for MCS, urine cytology, flexible cystoscopy +/- biopsy.

  1. Frank (macroscopic) - needs further investigating

2. Microscopic - can be asymptomatic
