What is the physiological anaemia of infancy?
A
When exposed to oxygen, rbc production reduces during 2nd week of life and then slowly increases - life span of rbc is 25days if term and 17 days if preterm, and by 6-9 weeks hb falls!

Hb normal but experiencing signs/symptoms of anaemia
