  3. The one who begins the salaam gets greater reward
  4. When replying, salaam must be made verbally
  5. In normal scenarios, its wajib to reply to salaam
  6. If you are mid convo, should not be greeted
  7. Not permissible to bow and make salaam
  8. If you promise to give salaam on someones behalf, its wajib for you to do so
  9. When making salaam to elders, speak in a low voice avoiding arrogance or disrespect
