Laughing kookaburra. Species of kingfisher. Listed as Least Concern by IUCN
Diet components
1-2 mice per day, once a day. Depends on her mood and how much she is willing to eat. Usually fed midday. If she eats one mouse, a second will be offered. Sometimes mice may be left with her overnight.

Trainer made and fed once daily
Current medical conditions
Severe case of bumblefoot- requires weekly bandage changes by vet staff
Offset beak- Trimmed by vet staff
Past medical history of needing calcium supplements for egg-laying support in the spring
Medication expectations
Receives SD cream when bandages are changed once a week. May be moved to two weeks.

Cleaning expectations
Trainer Big 4 indoor/outdoor enclosure once a week. Indoor enclosure trainer responsibility to spot clean. Outdoor enclosure spot cleaned daily by area.
Trainer is required to sign the board for Gummy’s Big 4.
BE expectations
Enrichment to be given daily.
Approved enrichment: relationship building, cockroach, red wiggler, rubber snake, rearranging enclosure items, alternative enclosure, bird bath, cardboard tube/roll, carved pumpkin, discoball, grooming/preening, mirror, music, paper mache, paper rope, perching, pine cone
