Formes Fixes

A

Fixed Forms; inherited from troubadours/trouveres. Follow poetry to get music (like a sonnet) - will have an “a” section and a “b” section, which alternate depending on the pattern of music. Upper case letter repeats music AND text - lowercase repeating music with NEW text.
