20 year old lean Finnish patient presents with a 4 week history of polyuria and nocturia, polydipsia and weight loss.
Patient is also deficient in vitamin D and also has Addisons disease and Pernicious anaemia.
What is disease?

A

Diabetes Mellitus Type 1

2-6 week history
<30 year old and lean

Presents with other autoimmune disorder (Addisons, Pernicious anaemia, Coeliac disease, AI thyroid)
Environmental factors:
Dietary constitutents; Enteroviruses (Coxsackie B4); Vitamin D deficiency; cleaner environment may increase type 1 susceptibility
