Difference in growth RATE between girls vs boys

A

Girls grow up faster than boys (reach 50% of adult height at earlier age, 1.75 vs. 2 yrs) enter puberty earlier n cease growing earlier. 1/2 way thru foetal period the skeleton already 3 weeks more advanced in girls. @ birth, difference is 4-6 weeks of maturation, at puberty difference is 2 years
