Adductor Magnus origin
External surface of ischial tuberosity and inferior rami of ischium and pubis – horizontal fibers from the ramus of the pubis are sometimes called the adductor minimus
Adductor Magnus insertion
Entire length of linea aspera; medial supracondylar ridge of femur, and adductor tubercle
Adductor Magnus action
Hip adduction, external rotation, extension (lower portion), flexion (upper portion)
