In society there are several groups of people that all have different income, importance and benefits. What are these people divided in?
Social Classes
This class in society makes up 3-5 percent of the population in Canada and consists of families that inherit their wealth.
Wealthy Upper Class
This class makes up 40-50% of Canada`s population and is denfined based on the jobs and income of members. Jobs examples would be office manager and employees
The Middle Class
This class is commonly refered to as” Blue Collar” and consits of manual labour and work done in factories. About 30% of Canda`s population makes up this class.
The Working Class
Makes up the remainder 20% of Canada`s popualtion and which consits of very low income and a very unstable life
The Poor
Families or indviduals that do have jobs but make very low income such as minimum wage are considered what?
The Working Poor
When a person does not have any neccessities that are essiential to life such as a home, what are types of poverty do they live in?
Absolute Poverty
These people do not live at home, infact they do not have a home for reasons of running away or having disablilties that prevent them of getting jobs to pay for a home.
Homeless
Who is at risk of being poor and being affected by poverty?
