Q

Where do the uterine and ovarian arteries anastomose?

A

The ovarian artery is a branch off of AA. OA travels to the ovary within the suspensory ligament. As it crosses the pelvic brim, it lies close to the ureter and anastomoses with terminal branches of the uterine artery.
OA supplies the uterine fundus, uterine tube and the ovary.
