What does the gripper do?
A
Anything that’s not plugged into a wall

A

Flags
- Diffusion: softens light
- Solids: Block light
- Nets: reduce the intensity

What is one type of diffusion flag?
A
Silk flags soften light by ~1 F stop

Name 3 types of nets and their specific abilities
A
Green: reduce intensity by 1/2 an F stop
Red: reduce intensity by one F stop
Purple: reduce intensity by an F stop and a half (or just use red and green together)

What is a floppy?
A
A loose fabric portion that doubles the size of a solid flag
