= wounding and/or grievous bodily harm

Wounding = a break in 2 or more layers of skin - Eisenhower

Gbh is defined as: “really serious harm”- DPP v Smith

Gbh can be really serious psychiatric harm - r v burstow

Gbh can be biological harm- Dica

Gbh can be accumulated minor injuries- r v brown and Stratton

Can be done indirectly - Martin
