Green Annunciators Flashcards
INBD WG DEICE
OUTBD WG DEICE
TAIL DEICE
Trigger: Pressure sensed in respective de-ice boots is > 12 PSI
Significance: Pressure in the respective de-ice boots is sufficient for de-icing
Note: Sensor only detects whether enough pressure is present for de-icing
and not actual boot inflation. It is possible to receive the correct annunciation
without boot inflation, always verify inflation visually.
L AUTOFEATHER
R AUTOFEATHER
Trigger: Autofeather switch armed and power leavers advanced above 85-
90%
Significance: Autofeather system logic has enabled the autofeather capability
Note: The annunciator indication is duplicated for ease of viewing above the
top left of the torque gauges and illuminates “AFX”
L IGNITION ON
R IGNITION ON
Trigger: Engine ignitor is powered
Significance: Engine Ignitor is powered
Note: during start/ignition or with auto-ignition armed and torque < 700 ft-
lbs
L ENG ANTI-ICE
R ENG ANTI-ICE
Trigger: Engine anti-ice vane is fully extended
Significance: Engine anti-ice vane has reached its fully extended position
L BK DE-ICE ON
R BK DE-ICE ON
Trigger: Brake de-ice bleed air valve is in the open position
Significance: Use of brake de-ice will lower aircraft performance and raise ITT
Note: The ITT will raise approx 18°C when selected on during flight and
torque will decrease slightly.
MAN TIES CLOSE
Trigger: Generator tie switch has selected to manually closed
Significance: Load shedding will NOT automatically occur and/or battery is
supplying all the electrical power for the system
Note: Crew must be aware of discharge rate and power remaining (See
Emergency Procedures Checklist: Load Management)
