-Proetus’ wife, Stheneboea came onto Bellerophon, he refuses, she accuses him of rape
-Proetus sends Bellerophon to King Iobates of Lycia with a message saying to kill Bellerophon

- an oracle says Oedipus will kill his father, so Laius gives him to Jocasta who gives him to a slave
-slave leaves Oedipus on a mountain, he is found by a shepard who names him after his swollen foot
-Oedipus is brought to Polybus and Merope (King and Queen of Corinth) who raise him

-The blind Prophet Tiresias says Oedipus did it, Oedipus calls him a liar
-A messenger arrives, telling Oedipus his adoptive father, Polybus, is dead and is told he was adopted
-Oedipus sends for the shepard, the shepard tells him he was Laius’ son
-Jocasta hangs herself, and Oedipus stabs her hairpins into his eyes, curses his family name, and exiles himself from Thebes
-dies at Colonus

-Son of Zeus and Danae (daughter of Acrisius, King of Argos)
-Danae is locked in a tower to avoid prophecy (son will kill Acrisius), has sex with Zeus via golden rain
-Acrisius puts them in a wooden chest, they was ashore on the island of Serifos
-A fisherman, Dictys (Brother of King Polydectes) takes them in and raises Perseus as his own

-Polydectes hostes a party where all the guests had to bring horses as a gift
-Perseus didn’t have any horses, Polydectes demands the head of Medusa instead
