Do not separate with too much distance
Words used incorrectly in context
“Between” or “Among”
Between: two people or things
Among: more than two people or things
“Less” or “fewer”
Less is used with things or materials that cannot be counted or separated I to individual parts (sunshine, orange juice, sand)
However you can count litres, hours, and brains of the substance
Fewer is used with discrete things that can be separated or counted (cd’s, sausages, cows, people)
“Number” or “Amount”
Number: individual, countable things
Amount: things that are not countable
“Each other” or “one another”
Each other: two people
One another: two or more people
