Verb
A word used to describe an action, state, or occurrence.
Common Noun
Nouns that don’t have a capital letter example-apple, chair
Adjective
A describing word
Example-gigantic, exciting, lucky, obedient
Pronoun
Is a word that takes place of a noun.
he, she, It, they
Preposition
Prepositions are words that indicate location.
Example-on, in, beside
Conjunction
Junctions of a sentence. Connecting one part of the sentence to another.
Example- and, or, but, so, because
Aux verb
An auxiliary verb is a verb that adds functional or grammatical meaning to the clause in which it appears
example- to express tense, aspect, modality, voice, emphasis, etc.
Infinitive
any verb that is stated to in front of it.
I love to play.

Proper noun
A proper noun has two distinctive features: 1) it will name a specific [usually a one-of-a-kind] item, and 2) it will begin with a capital letter no matter where it occurs in a sentence.
Adverb
An adverb is a word that modifies a verb, adjective, other adverb, determiner, noun phrase, clause, or sentence.
