What is angiosperm?
A flowering vascular plant whose seeds are surrounded by fruit.
What is gravitropism?
The growth response of plants to gravity.
What is gymnosperm?
A vascular plant that produces seeds that are not surrounded by fruit.
What is phloem?
Plant tissue that carries food from the leaves to the other cells.
What is phototropism?
The growth response of plants to light.
What is pollination?
The first step of angiosperm reproductino, during which pollen from an anther lands on a stigma of a flower of the same kind.
What are spores?
Cells that can grow into a new plant without joining with other cells.
What is xylem?
Plant tissue that carries water and nutrients from a plant’s roots to it leaves.
