Loui was a lightskined so ppl thought he was white, he led over 300 slaves and khoi khoi servants to Cape Town, the targeted the weapons and planned on talking to the authorities about peace and freedom, but they were met by armed soldiers who captured them and sentenced 20 to death

1825 rebellion

A

Galant had a cruel owner, Van Der Merwe, who beat his slaves. once Galant heard that slavery might be abolished he overheard Van Der Merwe saying he would never free his slaves Galant knew he had to rebel. he gathered slaves from nearby farms and they killed Van Der Merwe and two other white ppl. Galant and two other slaves were sentenced to DEATH 💀😵😵😵
