What are the clinical features of tension-type headache?
A
Bilateral frontal, can radiate to neck
Squeezing/ band-like constriction
Mild-moderate intensity
Worse at the end of the day (due to stress)
Aggravated by stress, poor posture, lack of sleep
Relieved by simple analgesia

What advice do you give to the patient?
A
Advice:
- Advise to keep a headache diary
- Advise on stress management e.g. better sleep hygiene
Management:
- Paracetamol
