Define Polypharmacy
Simultaneous use of multiple medications by a patient for 1 condition.
Define Concordance
Agreement between patient and doctor respecting beliefs/wishes of patients in determining whether, when and how meds are to be taken.

Pros:
1. increase in mental health and wellbeing.
2. reduce GP workload. - dedicated time from a professional.
3. tackles feelings of loneliness and isolation.
4. patient- centred tailored approach.
Con’s:
1. no medical professional there to support patient if needed.
2. patients’ confidence may be impacted.
