A

Acute glomerulonephritis + lung symptoms caused by antiglomerular basement membrane antibodies

Diagnostic tests

A

CXR: infiltrates due to pulm haemorrhage, often in lower zones

Kidney biopsy: crescentic glomerulonephritis

Tx

A

Treat shock, vigorous immunosuppressive Tx and plasmapheresis

A

It removes circulating anti-GBM antibodies
