When do we use PROM and AROM in goniometry?
A
- PROM when assessing the extremities, artiular surfaces and inert structures
- AROM when assesing the spine, but can be used for extremities, articular surfaces, inert structures, and is used to assess muscle strength and coordination

Tissue stops below the normal range (2 tissue stops)
- Soft, firm, hard or empty (illicited by pain or muscle splinting)
